Online Therapy for Women in TN & NV
For women ready to stop abandoning themselves to feel safe in relationships.
I help women who have learned to stay small, keep the peace, or carry more than their share heal from trauma, anxiety, depression, and relational wounds so they can understand their patterns, trust themselves again, and live more aligned with who they are now.
If you have spent years reading the room, over explaining, shutting down, or making yourself responsible for everyone else’s emotions, those patterns likely began as ways to protect you. Therapy can help you understand why they make sense, where they started, and how to begin choosing from who you are now instead of what you had to survive.

Welcome to Revelation Mental Health
Maybe you’ve been moving through relationships on alert, carefully choosing your words, questioning your needs, or holding back to avoid conflict or disconnection. At Revelation Mental Health, therapy is a space to understand where those patterns began, rebuild trust in yourself, and begin moving through life with more clarity, steadiness, and freedom.
Below, you can learn more about the approaches I use to support that process.

About
I’m Suzanne Maynard, LMFT, a licensed marriage and family therapist serving clients online in Tennessee and Nevada. I help women navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship pain, and self doubt begin to understand the patterns that keep them feeling stuck.
My approach is grounded, direct, and relational. I draw from EMDR, DBT skills and principles, Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 3 training, and faith sensitive care when desired to help you understand the patterns beneath your pain, reconnect with your voice, and move toward a life that feels more honest, steady, and aligned.
Specialties
Individual Therapy
For women ready to heal old survival patterns, rebuild self trust, and stop losing themselves in relationships.
Depression
Depression can feel like heaviness, low motivation, sleep changes, difficulty concentrating, or feeling disconnected from yourself and the life you want to be living. In therapy, we make space for what has been weighing on you and begin reconnecting with your needs, voice, clarity, and sense of self.

Anxiety
Anxiety can show up as chronic worry, overthinking, physical tension, avoidance, people pleasing, or always bracing for what might go wrong. In anxiety therapy, we work with both your thoughts and nervous system so you can feel more grounded and respond from self trust versus a place of fear.
Trauma
Trauma can make the past feel like it is still shaping the present. It may show up as triggers, hypervigilance, emotional numbness, shame, or difficulty feeling safe in your body or relationships. Trauma therapy and EMDR can help you process painful experiences and build more safety, choice, and agency in the present.

Couples Therapy
For couples ready to understand their conflict cycle, repair hurt, and rebuild emotional connection.

Couples Therapy
Relationship pain often reveals deeper patterns around communication, unmet needs, conflict, repair, and fear of taking up space. Relationship therapy helps you understand the cycle, speak more honestly, and build relationships where your voice, needs, and values have room.
Services
My approach to therapy gives you space to understand the patterns that once helped you survive but may now be keeping you stuck. Through approaches like EMDR, DBT, and Gottman Method relationship work, we can begin making sense of your past while helping you move differently in the present.

DBT
DBT helps you build skills to stay grounded, regulate emotions, and make choices that align with your values.

EMDR
EMDR helps process painful memories so your nervous system can stop living as if the past is still happening.

Gottman Method
The Gottman Method helps couples understand the patterns beneath conflict, communicate more clearly, repair hurt, and rebuild emotional connection.
